25 year old Shawn Applewhite of Marlton has received an eight year prison sentence for an attempted robbery at an Atlantic City casino. The New Jersey Attorney General announced today that Applewhite was accused of threatening a patron at Bally’s Casino with a box cutter knife in December, 2020. He must serve at least seven years of his sentence.
