Her homecoming may have come one day later than expected, but it was still sweet. Marine Lance Corpora Krista Zielinski returned to her home in Wildwood Crest Thursday night with a show of support from local friends and family. Zielinski, 21, had been serving as aviation operations clerk for the past eight months in Afghanistan. A procession of fire engines, police cars, and motorcycles greeted Krista and her mother, who made the drive from North Carolina to the American Legion Post in Wildwood. Her father, Paul, is a police officer in Wildwood.
