A vote on Thursday will cut down the black sea bass season in the state. The New Jersey Marine Fisheries Council voted on Thursday to trim the season by 30 days and cut the bag limit from 25 to 20 fish per day. A number of options were put forth, but this plan got a unanimous vote. The minimum size will remain at 12.5 inches.
