MARGATE, FEDS FINALLY SIT DOWN OVER DUNE PLAN

Officials with Margate and the United States Army Corps of Engineers finally sat down on Friday to talk about a dune protection system that Margate doesn’t want.  An attorney for Margate says both sides will continue discussions in good faith as they work through the process.  Margate maintains that the dunes are not needed and will block valuable waterfront views.
