MARGATE: CA– USEWAY TO CLOSE DOWN ON WEDNESDAY FOR UTILITY WORK

A temporary closure could create some traffic headaches in Margate. Atlantic City Electric said that on Wednesday, crews will replace a broken pole on the Margate – Northfield Boulevard – which was damaged by the storm that swept through the region Sunday. The storm damaged a utility pole which is located adjacent to the bridge that spans Whirlpool Channel along the causeway. The causeway will be closed at a minimum from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
