MARBLES CHAMPS CROWNED IN WILDWOOD

There’s a new King and Queen of competitive marbles. The National Marbles Tournament crowned two champions on Thursday in Wildwood. Logan Mayberry, 11 years-old from Clay County, Tennessee and 13 year-old Caleb Isaacson of Gunnison County, Colorado, won the girls and boys titles, respectibvely, in a “heated” competition at Ringer Stadium on the Wildwood Beach. Caleb finished in third place each of the past three years at the Wildwood Tournament. Winners get a $2,000 scholarship and a $500 sportsmanship award.
