As Memorial Day Weekend approaches in just over one week, many seasonal job openings remain unfilled. The Press of Atlantic City reports that many local businesses are still in need of employees as summer is near. A spokesperson for Morey’s Piers in Wildwood says that applications this year were off by 14 percent from this same time last year. The report speculates that with an improving economy, more people are finding year-round jobs and not relying on part time employment to make ends meet.
