A car crash into a man who was walking along the Garden State Parkway in North Jersey. State Police say that 75-year-old Michael Lerakis, of Tinton Falls, was pronounced dead a short time later. The incident took place near mile marker 110. An investigation is on-going into what the man was doing on the roadway. An autopsy is being done today as well.
