A man who was being attacked got in trouble for using a machete to defend himself. Egg Harbor Township Police say they arrested Richard Borges and are looking for an accomplice that attacked Drew Vasquez. During the attack, Vasquez got a machete from inside of his home and sliced open Borges arm. Borges was charged with aggravated assault, burglary and terroristic threats. Bail was set at $35,000. Vasquez was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession drug paraphernalia and he was released on a summons.
