A single vehicle accident took place in Middle Township on Route 9 in Rio Grande. Brian Revoir, 22, of Ocean View, was driving on Route 9 and a nearby officer had determined via radar that he was speeding on Thursday night. Seconds later there was an explosion after Revoir hit a utility pole around 11:01 pm. Revoir was not injured in the crash. He was cited for three traffic citations, speeding, careless driving, and failure to maintain a lane.
