A man allegedly took a vehicle for more than a test drive on Thursday. Egg Harbor Township Police say they arrested William Ireland after he tried to outrun police. Galloway Township Police had found the stolen vehicle in their jurisdiction that was taken from Black Horse Auto Sales. The driver refused to stop and Galloway Officers pursued the vehicle, assisted by the New Jersey State Police, on the Garden State Parkway. Ireland has been charged with 2 counts of burglary, 3 counts of theft and criminal mischief in Egg Harbor Township. He was additionally charged with Eluding by Galloway Township. The pursuit ended at approximately mile post 58 and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $50,000.
