A 46 year old man who was shot and killed by New Jersey State Police at a New Jersey Turnpike rest stop on Thursday was speeding his truck towards a police officer after he was shooting heroin. Police identified the victim as Christopher Pizzichetta of Lewes, Delaware. The trooper fired several shots, mortally wounding Pizzichetta.
