MAN LIES AND TELLS 911 HE WAS SHOT IN HEAD

A Vineland man lied to a 9-1-1 operator when he told the operator that he was shot in the head. Police arrived at the Holiday Inn Express where the call originated from and he told police that he was fine. He claimed he got into an argument with some person he didn’t know and thought he was going to be shot, so he lied to get a quick response from the police. Jose Cruz was arrested for creating a false public alarm and later released on his own recognizance.
