The driver of a vehicle who fled from police after a drug sale wound up being saved by police after he jumped into the bay and nearly drowned. Police say Dwayne Townsend had to be rescued by police after he nearly drowned fully clothed. Police stopped Townsend for conducting a drug sale and twice jumped into the bay to escape police. They saved his life, and now Townsend is in jail. Police recovered drugs and a gun.
