A single vehicle accident caused a man to become entrapped. Egg Harbor Township Police say that a 2010 Honda CRV operated by John Weber Jr., 59 years of age of Absecon, was proceeding west on Westcoat Road when it left the roadway for an unknown reason. The vehicle struck the fence for the Atlantic City Municipal Utility Authority property and a utility pole. Weber was treated at the scene by the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad and was transported to AtlantiCare City Campus for moderate injuries.
