A man with deep routes to the Atlantic City area was convicted of murder last week. Shamsidden Abdur-Raheem was charged in an incident that involved him throwing his three-month-old baby off the Driscoll Bridge. Abdur-Raheem was a graduate of Atlantic City High School. He tried to say that his daughter was already dead when he threw her off the bridge. A scuffle ensued with one of the grandparents before he gained control of the child and allegedly the child few in the process.
