MAN CHARGED FOR WITHHOLING INFORMATION IN RUFFIN ABDUCTION

A former Pleasantville resident admitted in court Tuesday that he withheld vital information in the murder/kidnapping case of 19 year-old Nadirah Ruffin in 2011. 43 year-old Ronnie Ruffin, no relation to the victim, made a plea deal with federal prosecutors in the case. He knew that his daughter and nephew were involved in the crime and concealed the information from authorities. Ruffin faces up to three years in prison but will not be required to testify in the trial of the three individuals charged with the murder of Nadirah Ruffin.
