MAN BURNED IN FIRE UNDER ATLANTIC CITY BOARDWALK

Atlantic City Police now say it was a homeless man who was injured Monday evening under the city’s boardwalk during a small fire.  Police were called to the Central Pier shortly before midnight after a fire erupted under the pier.  Officials say 48 year old Thomas Palmer accidentally started the fire after he lit a candle.  Parmer walked into a local hospital with burns on his hands and face.  So far no charges have been filed.
