MAN ATTACKED WITH GOLF CLUB IN WILDWOOD CREST

Wildwood Crest Police report that a man was struck in the head with a golf club by a 58 year-old man from the Villas. Police said Brian Rhuberg was in a fight with a 35 year-old male at a house on the 100 block of Heather Road in Wildwood Crest last Friday night. Rhuberg allegedly struck the man in the head with a golf club and broke two windows in the altercation. The male victim was treated for his injuries and released from Cape Regional Medical Center. Rhuberg was charged with aggravated assault and placed in the Cape May County Jail on $50,000 bail.
