MAJORITY OF GOP VOTERS DON’T BELIEVE THEY CAN SUPPORT CHRISTIE FOR PRESIDENT

A new poll shows that Gov. Chris Christie might have a hard time rallying his own party behind him to run for higher office. The NBC/Wall Street Journal poll shows that 55 percent of registered voters who say they will vote in the GOP primaries don’t believe they can support Christie in a presidential run. Only 36 percent believe they could support Christie. Only Donald Trump had worse numbers among the candidates polled about in this data selection.
