MAJORITY BELIEVE CHRISTIE IS EYEING PRESIDENTIAL RUN

Most believe Gov. Chris Christie is ready to run for higher office in 2016. A new Monmouth University/Asbury Park Press poll says that 63% of respondents believe that their governor wants to run for president in 2016, which includes 40% who say he is already planning his campaign. Currently, 44% of New Jerseyans say that Christie is more concerned with governing the state of New Jersey compared to 38% who say he is more concerned with his own political future.
