MAJOR PENSION SAVINGS NUMBERS RELEASED FOR SOUTH JERSEY

A breakdown has been released regarding the savings being brought in by the state’s pension reform bill. The state announced that Cape May County will save $3.8 million, while Atlantic County will save $10.8 million and Cumberland County will save $3.1 million. It was announced earlier last week that $267 million was saved statewide. Those savings numbers include local governments and school districts.
