MAJOR DRUG BUST ANNOUNCED IN ATLANTIC CITY

Atlantic County Sheriff Frank X. Balles announced the arrest of Nicole Garofolo, 28, of Ventnor. She was wanted on two outstanding warrants from the drug court program since March, Garofolo was arrested in Egg Harbor Township after a brief investigation that revealed she was in possession of 246 bags of Heroin, small quantities of Xanax and Marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia consisting of baggies, rubber bands, and a cutting agent. Garofolo was charged with Possession of CDS, Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Garofolo is lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on a $50,000 cash bail set by Judge Switzer in addition to her drug court warrants.
