Construction has begun of the new Peermont Substation by Atlantic City Electric in Avalon. Crews are building a brand new substation that will service Avalon and Stone Harbor to meet current and future energy needs for many years to come. The substation is located at 61st Street and Ocean Drive in Avalon. Construction work will be suspended during the summer with a project completion date before Memorial Day weekend, 2016.
