There was a major traffic accident on the Garden State Parkway in central New Jersey Wednesday afternoon. State Police say four cars were involved in an accident in the southbound lanes of the Parkway in Wall Township, near milepost 98. One person was airlifted from the scene in critical condition; one of the vehicles overturned and trapped its occupants.
