On Wednesday N.J. Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno visited the Safeway Fresh Foods store in Vineland and delivered a framed proclamation from Gov. Christie for the owners. The Tedesco family are fifth-generation farmers from the Rosenhayn area and bought the Safeway in October 2009. In 2012, the family started a food processing operation that packages local fresh and frozen foods for convenience stores and supermarkets. Guadagno later went to Atlantic City as the keynote speaker of the annual State Agricultural Convention.
