LT. GOVERNOR ATTENDS HOTEL OPENING IN DIAMOND BEACH

Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno joined officials from the Wildwoods and Lower Township for a ribbon cutting ceremony at a new luxury hotel in Diamond Beach on Thursday. A grand opening was held for the new Hotel Icona Diamond Beach, a totally remodeled version of the former Pier 6600, with 108 luxury suites. Guadagno said the new property was another sign of New Jersey’s continued recovery from Hurricane Sandy.
