New Jersey Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno announced this week that the state enjoyed its best ever year in tourism revenue in 2014. Guadagno attended the tourism conference in Atlantic City on Thursday and announced that the tourism industry generated $42.1 billion in revenue for the state, which represents a 3.8 percent increase over 2013. Tourism is the sixth largest employer in the state, only behind health car, retail trade, professional services, finance, and accommodation/food services.
