A big change could be coming in Lower Township. Council there is going to discuss the contract of the manager Kathy McPherson. McPherson just recently announced her retirement, effective the end of the July in 2011. A couple of council members recently made public comment to Coastal Broadcasting that they did not feel information was being shared fairly, and they were unaware as to the real deficit numbers heading into next year, despite asking for that information repeatedly. The discussion about her contract will take place in closed session, and then return to open session for a personnel discussion of the manager. Action could be taken at that time.
