LOWER TWP: SIMONSEN TO TAKE OVER AS MAYOR NEXT WEEK

There will be a change in the top leadership of Lower Township next week. The township will be holding its reorganization meeting and Erik Simonsen will be going from councilman to mayor. Mayor Mike Beck and Deputy Mayor Norris Clark have worked their final meeting. Simonsen will become mayor and Frank Sippel will become deputy mayor. The meeting is tentatively scheduled for Jan. 4.
