LOWER TWP. HONORS LOCAL MARINE VETERAN

On Saturday, US Marine Gunnery Sergeant Dan Devine was the recipient of a big homecoming. Devine, 33, was returning from his third tour in Afghanistan and was honored with a convoy of firetrucks and vets on motorcycles, as he was escorted to VFW Post 5343 in the Villas. The soldier was especially glad to greet his wife and two daughters. His daughter Kathleen celebrates her 12th birthday on Monday.
