LOWER TWP. COPS REPORT COLLISION BETWEEN VEHICLE AND BICYCLIST

A bicyclist was injured during a collision between a motor vehicle and the bicycle early Saturday evening on Route 9 near the Cape May National Golf Club.  Lower Township Police identified the driver at Kurt M. Seer Jr., who remained at the scene after the accident.  Seer admitted that he took his eyes off the road to adjust a radio and drifted into the shoulder of the travel lane.  The injured cyclist was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a possible head injury.
