LOWER TWP. COPS MAKE RESCUE IN SMOKY APARTMENT

Lower Township Police are being commended this week for helping to save two people who were sleeping in an apartment earlier this week while the apartment was on fire.  Patrolmen Kevin Boyle Jr. and Stephen Filtcroft helped rescue two adults who were sleeping in apartment one week ago during an early morning fire.  The occupants were safely removed from the fire and were treated by the Lower Township Rescue Squad.  Patrolman Boyle was treated for smoke inhalation.
