A Lower Township woman was killed in a Friday accident. The Press of Atlantic City reports that Lauren McHugh, of Lower Township, was killed in the accident near milepost 58.5 on Route 9. State Police are investigating the incident. Andrew Hubbard, of Philadelphia, was driving southbound when the vehicle crossed into the northbound lane of traffic and hits some trees and a sign. McHugh was pronounced dead at the scene.
