A highly debate ordinance will get further review in Lower Township. A meeting has been set up for April 19 in front of the township’s planning board regarding outdoor boilers. Public comment will be taken at that time and a recommendation will be made to council regarding overturning the ordinance. The law states that no new furnaces can be built, but prior ones will be grandfathered in. A petition with over 600 certified signatures has been approved by the township clerk for the overturning.
