At long last the railroad crossings have been changed along Route 9 in Lower Township. On Thursday afternoon, the roadway at Sally Marshall Crossing was permanently closed to traffic. Motorists can now use the crossing further South to cross the railroad tracks at Breakwater Road, between Route 9 and Seashore Road.
