New technology has helped the Lower Township Police Department discover a stolen vehicle. Police say they used their Automated License Plate Reader and located a stolen vehicle from out of Pennsylvania in 2015. The operated of the vehicle, Malick Philippe, of New York, was arrested. Police found a large amount of cash, marijuana, heroin, and prescription pills in the vehicle. Philippe was charged on drug and theft charges. Bail was set at $60,000 and he was placed in the Cape May County Jail.
