LOWER TOWNSHIP POLICE EQUIPPED WITH LICENSE PLATE READER

Car not registered? Might want to ensure it is next time you drive into Lower Township. Police there got a license plate reader to put on a police vehicle that will allow them to know if the car is unregistered, stolen, or possibly if the driver is unlicensed. The reader was purchased through a grant that the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office received. Lower Township Police are going to look at purchasing more in the future if money allows.
