LOWER TOWNSHIP MUA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ARRESTED

An investigation into the Lower Township MUA has netted a major arrest. Matthew Ecker, the executive director of the authority was charged with tampering with a witness and obstructing administration of law or other government function. Ecker is alleged to have engaged in conduct which caused the intimidation of employees relating to an investigation involving the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office. additional charges are pending further investigation.
