LOWER TOWNSHIP MAN ADMITS TO SEXUAL ASSAULT ON 14-YEAR-OLD

An investigation into a sexual assault led to the confession of a Lower Township man. On Monday, Derek E. Brant, 24 years old, of the 3000 block of Bayshore Road in the Fishing Creek section of Lower Township, was located and interviewed about the alleged incident. Derek E. Brant confessed to the incident and was charged with Sexual Assault 2nd degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child 3rd degree, Prostitution 3rd degree and Providing Obscene Material to a Minor 3rd degree. Bail was set at $200,000.
