LOWER TOWNSHIP: LINDSEY RESPONDS TO ALLEGIATIONS HOLDING UP COUNCIL MEETING

The Lower Township Republican Committee head doesn’t think a cancelled council meeting is his fault. Jeff Lindsey said he had to move the meeting from Tuesday to Wednesday because of a work conflict. Lindsey noted that council had 30 days to select from their three candidates and were unable to. Lindsey said within a couple days of the vote coming to his committee they selected a candidate, Walt Craig. Craig left the committee meeting before speaking with reporters.
