LOWER TOWNSHIP HEARS DISCUSSION ABOUT HOTEL

Lower Township’s Planning Board met last week and heard a discussion about plans to expand a hotel in Diamond Beach.  Developer Eustace Mita would like to expand the Hotel Icona that sits near the beach.  He wants to add a six floor and possibly move a bulkhead 200 feet towards the beach.  The Board was included to agree to a sixth floor, but had questions about moving the bulkhead.
