LOWER TOWNSHIP GROUP MEETS TO KEEP KIDS AWAY FROM DRUGS

The Lower Township Substance Abuse Response Team met Jan. 16 under the leadership of Mayor Michael Beck. The team includes representatives from the county, recreation staff, Lower Township police and judicial division. The group discussed initiatives to keep young people involved in activities and away from drugs. The team has been meeting every six weeks for the past year.
