Lower Township Police have arrested a man in connection wtih the theft of some items from a vehicle that was parked at a local restaurant in the Villas. Police announced the arrest of 37-year old Charles Barlow of the Villas, whom police say goes by the nickname “Chuck the Duck”.
Police were called Thursday evening to the Bella Magana Restaurant about an incident where a large rock was thrown through the window of an employee’s vehicle; a Tom Tom GPS and other items were stolen from the vehicle the suspect. Police received a description of the suspect and later located Barlow in the 100 block of Magnolia Avenue in the Villas, who matched the description given to police. Police recovered the stolen items and charged Barlow with burglary and theft. Bail was set at $20,000 cash by Judge Dave DeWeese.
