UPDATE: BREAKWATER ROAD IN LOWER TOWNSHIP OPEN TO EMERGENCY VEHICLES ONLY

Lower Township Police announced early Thursday afternoon that a portion of Breakwater Road has been closed due to the storm.  The road from Seashore to Shunpike roads has been closed due to unsafe conditions. As of the 3 o’clock hour, this section of roadway was re-opened, but only to emergency vehicles.
