LOWER TOWNSHIP APPROVES SALE, AND LEASE, OF PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING

The Lower Township Council approved the sale of its public safety building to the County during a meeting earlier this week.  In return, the Township will lease a portion of the building front he County.   Cape May County is planning a joint dispatch operation following a $5.5 million upgrade and improvement to the building.  Mayor Mike Beck and Councilman Norris Clark voted against the agreement.
