Lower Township is pleased to announce receiving $336,406.52 from FEMA to replenish money spent on last year’s horrendous snow storms. Lower Township officials say that they have also submitted for reimbursement of $26,000.00 for road repairs, and also $85,000.00 to $110,000.00 for repairs, engineering, and permits to the Holmes Avenue outfall that was damaged during the November 09 Nor’easter. The township credited the work of Public Works Director Gary Douglas, Linda Thomas, Thom Will, from Public Works for getting the money.
