LOWER POLICE UPDATE ON ROLLOVER ACCIDENT

A two vehicle accident on the George Redding Bridge included a rollover. Lower Township Police say their arrived on the scene to find the overturned vehicle had hit a concrete barrier and slid about 150 feet before coming to rest. Police said that a 2000 Toyota Spyder driven by Louis Maldanado, of North Wildwood, struck a 2010 Lincoln Mkx driven by Steven Shaprio, of Staten Island. Maldanado, and his passenger, Manuel Santiago, were taken to the Cape Regional Medical Center. Shaprio and his passenger refused medical treatment. Charges are pending.
