Its a chance to remember a fallen officer in the line of duty. Lower Township Police are reminding the public that they will commemorate the 18th anniversary of the death of David C. Douglass Sr. A brief flag raising ceremony will be held on Saturday at the Townbank Fire House at 10 a.m. Later that evening, all of the fire sirens will be activated in memory of Douglass. Douglass was a Lower Township officer who was killed exchanging gun fire back in 1994.
