LOWER POLICE SEEKING VESSLE THAT WAS AT CAPE MAY POINT STATE PARK

The investigation into the sexual assault at Cape May State Park is continuing. Lower Township Police are seeking the owner or operator of a Catamaran style sail boat that was anchored in the ocean about 75 yards of the Cape May Point state park on July 1, the morning of the sexual assault on a 39-year-old woman. Local residents noticed a man that looked about 30-years-old, white, with dark hair and thin build on the boat. The name of the vessel is “Brer Rabbit.” Police are asking anyone with any information to come forward at 609-886-1619 ext. 112
